Dr. Punjab Rao Deshmukh Award

NAFED instituted an award to perpetuate the memory of Dr. Punjab Rao Deshmukh, the minister of Agriculture who founded NAFED. The award is given to the best primary marketing Co-operative selected from five regions. Pala Marketing has the hounor of being only Co-operative society in Kerala to win this prestigious award back in the year 1995. union.
